Today while I was out finishing up the back to school shopping I decided to run into the Dollar Tree to see what deals I could get. I am pretty happy with what I picked up. My total with sales tax before coupons was $18.36, I paid $8.36 after coupons for an average of .49 ¢ an item !
While I was shopping I learned that the cash registers are not set up to scan the coupons, so the cashier must manually check the coupon against the product for size and other requirements stated on the coupon, and then key in the coupon. My cashier told me they have been trained to ask if you have coupons so they can match them before they ring them up. So if your does not ask, mentioning it might be helpful.
This is what I picked up and the match ups follow below. Have you tried couponing at the Dollar Tree? What did you think?
